  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Oil & Gas Wellsite & Facility Construction and Maintenance
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience supervising people and on-site projects
  • A solid understanding of industry and legislative safety requirements
  • Excellent verbal, written and electronic writing and communication skills

Journeyman Electrician

NexSource Power Inc., located in Sylvan Lake, AB is looking for a highly motivated Journeyman Electrician to be the Power Generation Electrical Project Lead for field and shop work.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ controls experience with Deep Sea and ComAp
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Construction, Maintenance, Repair and Troubleshooting in the Power Generation, Oil and Gas sector
  • Mechanical knowledge of power generation equipment
  • Willing to travel between NexSource branches to assist and conduct field work
  • Industry required safety tickets including:
    • First Aid/CPR

Branch Administrator 

NexSource Power, is looking for a highly motivated Branch Administrator with a customer first attitude to join our Nisku branch. The Branch Administrator is primarily responsible to ensure all incoming and outgoing correspondence and communication is handled efficiently, accurately and personably, and to ensure the timely and accurate processing of tickets, PO’s, payroll documentation, contractor invoices and safety documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years related administration experience
  • Experience processing PO’s, field time tickets, time sheets, and HSE documentation would be an asset
  • Strong written and computer skills; intermediate level Excel
  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and a very high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proven ability to learn and adapt quickly; troubleshoot and research independently when required
